Cookies and localStorage are different
Cookies are small values a browser can send with requests to a website. LocalStorage keeps values in the browser for a particular origin and does not automatically attach them to page requests. Both can retain information between visits, so both deserve a clear explanation.
What this site stores
The only persistent browser value written by the included site scripts is housniftquirkypenguin-storage-choice, and it is written only when you select a preference below. Its value is essential or optional. It records a choice, not a name, email address, contact draft or browsing history.
The preference has no automatic expiry in this code. It remains until you change it, remove it below, clear site data or your browser removes it. Private browsing or storage restrictions may prevent it from being retained.
Manage the saved choice
No optional analytics, advertising or tracking features are currently used. Allowing optional storage therefore does not activate tracking. You can change your choice at any time.
No optional tracking is currently used. JavaScript is needed to read or change a saved preference.
What is not stored
The mobile menu state and scroll-reveal effects are temporary page behaviour. Contact drafts are held in the current page, not saved by this site in localStorage. Copying or downloading a message creates a separate clipboard item or file under your control.
Hosting and outside links
Hosting or network infrastructure can have its own technical behaviour, including security-related cookies depending on deployment. Such behaviour is distinct from the scripts described here and should be checked against the live hosting configuration. See Your Information for the limits of this static-site notice.
External reference links are ordinary links, not embedded trackers supplied by this code. If you visit another website, its own storage rules and notices apply.
Use browser controls
Your browser’s privacy or site-data settings can inspect and remove cookies and localStorage for this domain. Removing the saved choice will not prevent you from reading articles or using the message builder. The next visit will simply have no recorded preference.
